Love these characters. My problem is that even with all their flaws, neither of them are stupid. No normal person would have taken the news he received on blind faith and to expect me to believe that is what he did is ridiculous. I was ok with him being an a## and not telling Krissy right away (in fact I expected that), but from that point on it was like I was reading the actions of some other character. If it wasn't for the fact that I liked Krissy so much, I'd have said he deserved what he got. Don't get me wrong, what she was going to do was equally ridiculous but at least a little more in character. Anyway, I still like the series but would simply request that the author not expect us to suspend not only real common sense but book common sense for the case of plot and conflict.Product details

I really enjoyed this entire series. I loved how the stories do carry other characters into new books also. Krissy and Devon have been through SO much and just when it appears things are great ...someone from Devons past shows up and threatens it. Devon is torn. He loves Krissy but has a choice to make. Krissy does not give up on their love and is determined to do whatever it takes to make things the way they should be. I love the ending and the twist. Keep on writing M. S. Parker love ALL your stories!!!
Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy M.S. Parker & the first 3 books in this series I thoroughly enjoyed. This 1 however I would send back if I could. It was page upon page of Devon extoling Krissy, how much he loved her, how he couldn't live without her, I mean seriously I completely skipped most of the pages because it was boring frankly. You can only read the same thing but said differently so many times before you start thinking 'ok, got it lets move on'. Then the part in the story that was the couples accustomed "have to get past but can they really" problem had Devon acting nothing like he did in the previous books. Honestly he was kind of a wimp & totally stupid about the whole situation to the point that I actually was ticked off because it was like reading a completely different character. I was sorely disappointed in this book & it definitely did not have this particular series going out with a bang.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this series from beginning to end. DeVon and Krissy have been through so much but happily love truly does conquer all!
Despite some unexpected news and a less than stable ex-girlfriend, our couple still manage to work through their issues and come out on top. Their intimacy only got hotter with each new book and to watch them flourish when they both didn't know they could honestly be happy, made me smile.
I highly recommend you start with Book one and sit back and enjoy this highly charged adventure that will keep you captivated.

Chasing Perfection IV is perfection!! Devon and Krissy, the perfect couple, the perfect relationship, the perfect sex!!! And, yes, the sex is very hot, dirty and delicious!!! Can your past totally wreck your future. Well Devon is finding out in this book that it can, but what will he do about it, and how does Krissy handle it. You will just have to read this book to find out what happens. This is another great book in the Chasing Perfection series that I loved. We need more of Krissy and Devon!! Hopefully, M. S. Parker hasn't closed the book on them yet. Loved and enjoyed every moment of this book.
I love this series and loved these characters. The problem I had with this book is that I can't stand when an author seems to change the core values and actions of the characters to suit the storyline they are writing. A few things seemed very far-fetched in this book. You knew it was going to all work out but it was just frustrating as you're reading it. And as I said it all did work out and was a great book. I also felt though it was way too short, and felt a little ripped off. They didn't mention it at the end but I hope the series continues and I would highly recommend it to anyone and will continue to read her books.
Chasing Perfection, volumes 1-4, is a good read. The 2main characters, Krissy and DeVon are a beautiful pair. They are beautiful, sexual, intelligent and slighty flawed. He is a dominant, both in bed and business. She is educated, beautiful and not willingly submissive to DeVon or anyone. The only complaint is that Ms.Parker chose to make 4 books out of a story, that should have been no more than 2 books. A slight tease..the first book just gets started, when it ends only to become another book. At the finale of book 4, there is a HAE. Yea! I'm not above paying the extra $9, and authors do need to earn from their work, but......
Chasing Perfection, was emotional, heartbreaking, sexually Hot and filled with Passion and love. DeVon, was a changed man who only had eyes and a appetite for his only love Krissy. Krissy was definitely done with using men for sex and moving on, not giving any of them a chance to build a relationship with her. As DeVon starts to think about a more committed relationship with Krissy, his past comes back to put a halt to his wants and demand him to seek a new path. One that don't include Krissy...As Krissy is dealing with some health issues, Devon is pulling away from her and now she's not sure what's going to happen between her and DeVon or if they have a future together.
